PRO addresses the conservatives among us with their PLT stem. The shape of the main tube is somewhere between round and hexagonal, a way to get a little more stiffness in the stem while keeping a traditional look and minimizing weight. The handlebar clamp is for the modern minimalists, with two small, separate clamps -- one for the left side, one for the right.
