For use with 2000+ Hayes 74mm eye-to-eye calipers. (IS) International Standard 51mm tabs; (QR) Quick Release; (TA) Through Axle. Note: Fox-36/40 (through-axle), Rock Shox Pike (Maxle), and Psylo (Tullio) axle forks use IS-QR adapters. HY:8829: converts International Standard (51mm E-E tabs) rear mounts to Hayes Direct Mount (22mm threaded holes). Requires use of Hayes 22mm Direct Mount caliper (no longer in production). 'Smart' part number is Hayes ID stamped/cast into adapter bracket (sometimes in conjuction with a leading 74and/or a trailing letter) |
