Cateye's big barrel light has the most LEDs, with three powerful diodes in two rear-facing rows and two more at each end.
Each tier also has a separate button to toggle between constant, flash and ripple modes. The all-round visibility is the best here and battery life is over 100 hours on the two AAs supplied. Sealing is good and battery replacement is tool free, but keep checking the bolted clip mount -we lost two LD 1100s due to them falling off loose clamps
