The Shimano R240 shoes have many of the cutting edge features of the flagship R310 shoes at a lower price. A carbon fiber composite sole provides great power transfer. The sole has anti-skid pads near the heel and toe to make walking safer and a textured cleat area to prevent cleat slipping. 3D moisture control mesh uppers and toe vents enhance airflow. Advanced, stretch-resistant synthetic leather provides both suppleness and durability. The oversize micro-adjust buckle with dual offset straps comfortably secures the shoe on the foot. A cat's tongue low density heel liner prevents heel lift
